Sign Up to Neospin — and Pre-Empt the KYC Bottleneck
The signup form takes three minutes. KYC takes longer than the brochure says. The first deposit is the easiest piece. Knowing that order — and front-loading the documents the AML team will eventually ask for anyway — turns a typical 6-hour onboarding into something closer to 90 minutes for an Aussie punter who shows up prepared.
The Three-Minute Form
- Open the registration panel from the header. Required fields: email, password (12+ characters, mix of cases), date of birth (18+), AU mobile number, AU residential address, AU state.
- Confirm the AEST time zone, currency AU$, and language en-AU. These default correctly when you arrive from an Australian IP, but check before you submit.
- Tick the terms and the over-18 declaration. The marketing-emails tickbox is optional and can be reversed any time from your account.
You will get a verification email within 30 seconds. Open it from the same browser session — clicking from a different device sometimes fails the first link.
First Login & Security Set-Up
Log in, then immediately do two things: turn on two-factor authentication from the Security tab, and set deposit limits before your first AU$ arrives. 2FA via authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy) is far stronger than SMS — Aussie SIM-swap fraud has not gone away. Deposit limits before deposit means you decide your weekly cap calmly, not after a Saturday-night dopamine peak.
The Document Stack That Passes KYC First Try
Most KYC bounces happen because punters upload one document and wait. Send all three of these in one batch and you skip the back-and-forth:
- Photo ID — AU drivers licence (front + back) or AU passport. Drivers licences clear faster on average (median 38 minutes versus 67 for passports, in our internal AML stats), because the AML system cross-checks the AU registry directly.
- Proof of address — utility bill, bank statement or Centrelink letter dated within the last three months. The address must match what you typed at signup, character for character.
- Proof of payment — front of the card you used (last 4 digits visible, full middle digits blurred), or a screenshot of the bank app showing the deposit transaction.
Submit all three through the Verification panel inside your account, not by email. The panel hashes the files and routes them to the AML queue immediately.
First Deposit — Why PayID Is the Aussie Default
For the first deposit, PayID is the cleanest path: no card details to enter, the deposit lands in 5–15 minutes, and the trail through your bank app makes the eventual withdrawal verification trivial. Minimum AU$10, no fee. POLi works too if you bank with one of the supported retail banks. Card deposits go through but add a verification step later.
Logging In After the First Time
Use the same email + password combination, plus your 2FA token. If you forget your password, the reset link is bound to your registered email — agents cannot reset it for you. If you lose access to your authenticator app, support resets 2FA after a fresh ID check (allow 4–8 hours).
Counter-Tip: Don't Sign Up Twice
Multiple accounts from the same household, IP or payment method are caught by the AML rules and result in both accounts being suspended. If a partner or flatmate already plays at Neospin, do not register from the same network unless you have flagged the dual-household setup with support in advance.
